Full Day Nursery Place
8:00am – 5:00pm
£110 per day fully inclusive
Bucklebury Farm Day Nursery provides full-day childcare throughout the year in a nurturing, farm-based environment. We are closed on bank holidays and for one week during the Christmas period.
Supper Club
5:00pm – 6:00pm
£12 per session
Our optional Supper Club is available for families requiring childcare beyond the standard nursery day and includes a light evening snack.
Daily Nursery Contribution (Funded Childcare)
The Daily Nursery Contribution is entirely optional.
Parents are not required to purchase the Daily Nursery Contribution in order to access a funded childcare place or funded childcare hours.
Option A – Opt Out
Parents who choose not to opt into the Daily Nursery Contribution are responsible for providing:
- Breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner (where required)
- Formula milk (where applicable)
- Nappies, wipes and creams

Option B – Opt In
£10 per attended day
The Daily Nursery Contribution supports the provision of:
Food Consumables – £6
- Breakfast, snacks, lunch, pudding and dinner prepared onsite
- Milk and formula milk
Non-Food Consumables – £1
- Nappies
- Wipes
- Creams
Additional Experiences and Activities – £3
- Animal interactions and talks
- Soft play
- Tractor rides
Children enjoy daily access to our unique farm environment, which forms an important part of our approach to learning, exploration and outdoor play.
Government Funding
We offer funded childcare places for eligible children in accordance with current government and West Berkshire Council guidance.
Funded childcare is offered using a stretched model across 51 weeks of the year.
Funding is spread evenly across 51 weeks as follows:
- 15-hour entitlement: up to 11.18 funded hours per week
- 30-hour entitlement: up to 22.35 funded hours per week
Funding can be applied to a maximum of 9 hours per day until a child’s weekly funded entitlement has been used.
Parents are not required to purchase additional childcare hours in order to access their funded entitlement.
Where a child’s funded entitlement does not fully cover their chosen attendance pattern, parents may choose to:
- Use funded hours at Bucklebury Farm Day Nursery and access any remaining funded hours at another childcare provider; or
- Purchase additional childcare hours if they wish their child to attend beyond their funded entitlement.
Additional childcare hours are charged at:
£12.22 per hour
If your child attends another setting, please let us know so that funding can be allocated correctly between providers.
Late Collection
A late collection charge of £15 per 15-minute period (or part thereof) applies outside of booked collection times.
